Maureen Taylor
Maureen or "Mo" is the owner/founder of Abby's Dog Depot. She has always had a strong love for animals. At the age of 10, she began riding horses at the Narragansett Race Track’s last remaining stable. She began competitive riding just two years later, and joined the Equestrian Team while attending college. Upon settling down, Mo’s passion for animals remained the same, but her attention shifted from horses to dogs. She found something very fulfilling and rewarding in raising rescued dogs. This act of compassion paved the way for her next career step. In 1998, she began grooming, working feverishly to learn as much as possible about the profession. She spent several years sharpening her skills before opening Abby’s Dog Depot in 2001. Since then, Mo has worked diligently to earn the trust of each and every client. She still looks forward to learning new things about her profession, and strives to surround herself with positive, passionate dog people. Mo is mom to a happy and healthy 18 year old son who doesn’t sleep without a dog in his bed. Their family includes Ratchet, a studly Standard Schnauzer; and Myrtle, a chic long-haired Chihuahua.
KELLY FAHEY
Kelly became part
of Abby's team in 2013 as a bather/brusher and is looking forward to furthering
her career as a groomer. She has a passion for farming and has some pretty
funny experiences with it, just ask. Her family is made up of her husband, 4yr
old son and two beautiful 4 legged daughters,springer spaniel Rainy and Gordon
setter Tara.
REBECCA MEDEIROS
Rebecca became
part of Abby's team in October 2013 as a receptionist and is eager to further
her career as a groomer. She is from Fairhaven and loves working with animals.
Rebecca shares her home with 2 dogs, A chihuahua/Pug mix named Jake, a Shih Tzu
Mix named Nina, and a cat named Peekie.
