When Maureen purchased the current site of Abby's Dog Depot she created the design of the "new" Depot utilizing her many years of experience in the dog grooming industry. Clients enter into the bright and cheery reception/boutique store area. Check in at the front desk is quick and efficient and our furry friends are safely tucked into either the small dog waiting area or the large dog waiting area. From the waiting area they are whisked into the separate washroom where they are bathed using a state-of-the-art shampooing system. For larger dogs or senior dogs Abby's is equipped with a hydraulic tub which lowers to several inches above the floor for easy access. After bathing, our clientele is dried and then moved into the grooming room for their "primping" (brush, cut, etc). After grooming is complete they are returned to the waiting area to rest until picked up. The facility is climate controlled with several zones providing heat or air conditioning so our clients remain comfortable no matter what the weather. A specialized computer software package is used to provide for appointment scheduling, client contact information, special health information and grooming instructions. Two grassy potty areas are also available. One fenced area is accessible to clients for use on arrival or departure. The other fenced area is accessible to the staff of Abby's for pottying your pet as necessary throughout their stay.
